International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers

Training Facility and Offices

The IBEW's existing facilities will be roughly quadrupled in size to include state-of-the-art classrooms, union meeting halls, offices, and related uses. To support its growing mission to educate and train union electrical line workers, the new facility expands both capacity and hands-on learning spaces. A new high-bay training area allows indoor instruction for high-voltage line work and safety practices, with mezzanines that allow instructors to observe trainees at eye level. Specialized features also support training in underground wiring and high-voltage transformers, while assembly halls, classrooms, and administrative offices complete the plan.
