This extraordinary site overlooks the Loxahatchee River. The clients, who live in Hong Kong, wanted a home with Asian influences and a contemporary design. Tall spaces such as the kitchen were designed both for the soaring aesthetic and to allow natural ventilation to cool the spaces. A custom hood accommodates heavy use of a wok burner.

In keeping with the desire to maximize natural air flow, the front door was designed to be both secure and decorative. Bronze screening is sandwiched between with an asian pattern of laser cut solid 1/2" thick metal.
